They remind me of ‘cocoons’ this close! Lots of great detail in this shot, well done.

Fine macro–the exposure is perfect, as s the focus. The beans have an interesting texture and the black “eyes” make for visual interest.

Browsed through your photos thus far. Some really super macro subjects shot especially the glittery decoration. These black eyed peas are wonderful with their roughness very apparent.The crop is just right also. Looking forward to seeing your photos throughout 2011.
